Questions

How do I pay a business with Monero?

At checkout, choose Monero or XMR. You'll get an address and an amount, often as a QR code. Scan it with your wallet, check the amount and send. Most payments confirm within about 20 minutes.

Why do some places not ask for ID?

Monero payments don't carry your name, so many online businesses never need it. Places marked "No ID needed" say they won't ask; laws in some countries may still require it for certain products.

What is an onion site?

Some businesses also run a version of their website on Tor, with an address ending in .onion. You open it with Tor Browser for extra privacy.

Is a listing an endorsement?

No. Read the reviews, start with a small order, and check payment options with the business before you pay.

A business stopped accepting XMR. What do I do?

Use "Something wrong with this listing?" on its page, or the fix form. It's free and helps the next customer.

How do I list my business?

Use Add a business. There's a small one-time fee for the manual check; fixes are free.
