VPS and Web Hosting You Can Pay For With Monero (2026)

Hosting is where Monero has been accepted the longest. We checked the payment pages of the providers people recommend most, and sorted out which take XMR directly, which use a processor, and which ones do not take it at all.

Quick answer

Hosting companies were among the first businesses to accept Monero, and it is still the category where you have the most choice. Our Hosting & Domains aisle lists over 140 providers, 88 of them for VPS and dedicated servers. We checked the payment page of each provider below in October 2026, because "accepts crypto" often turns out to mean "accepts Bitcoin".

The cheapest options

Mynymbox takes Bitcoin, Lightning, Litecoin, Monero, Zcash and Cashu through its own self-hosted payment gateway, with "no middleman". KVM servers in the Netherlands and Finland start at €4 a month, and you only need an email address, for which an alias is fine.

IncogNET processes XMR, BTC, LTC and DOGE in-house. Its KVM VPS starts at $4.62 a month on six-monthly billing, with locations in the US, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Bern and Sofia. Several locations were out of stock when we checked.

Servers Guru starts at €4.99 a month with servers in Germany, Finland, the US, the Netherlands and Canada, and says it only needs your email for crypto payments.

Established privacy hosts

1984 Hosting in Iceland is one of the oldest privacy-minded hosts, and says it "proudly" accepts Bitcoin and Monero. Shared hosting starts at €2.25 a month on promotion and VPS at €8.72. It can show prices in XMR. One quirk: it does not offer crypto payment to customers who appear to be in Iceland, for tax reasons.

FlokiNET charges no fee on Monero payments and also takes cash by post. VPS start at €7.99 a month in Romania, with servers in Iceland, the Netherlands and Finland too.

Njalla, best known for anonymous domain registration, sells VPS from €15 a month in Sweden. It accepts Monero, and sign-up uses an email address or an XMPP account. The company behind it is registered in Costa Rica.

Privex, registered in Belize, accepts Monero, with plans in Germany and the US from $8 a month.

No email at all

Kyun says "Pay with Monero. No KYC." Accounts are created with a password and a proof-of-work challenge instead of an email address, and it has data centres in the Netherlands, the US and Romania.

SporeStack uses an account token instead of a login and accepts Monero, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and USDT. Your first deposit must be at least $100. Note that SporeStack is partly a reseller: some servers are launched on DigitalOcean or Vultr, so those servers sit under those companies' terms.

Cockbox accepts only Bitcoin and Monero and provisions servers automatically after one confirmation, from $10 a month in Romania.

Providers that do not take Monero (or we could not confirm)

  • Hostinger takes crypto through CoinGate, which does not list XMR.
  • BuyVM / Frantech, now part of Cloudzy since January 2025, does not list Monero on its site.
  • BitLaunch and AlexHost accept some crypto, but we could not confirm Monero.

What "offshore" really means

"Offshore hosting" is a marketing phrase, not a legal status. Two sets of laws apply: the country where the company is registered and the country where the server physically sits. Njalla is a Costa Rican company with servers in Sweden; Mynymbox is registered in Nevis with servers in the Netherlands and Finland. A host can resist overreaching requests, but it cannot ignore the law in either place. Check both before you choose.

Direct payment or a processor?

When a host takes Monero through a third-party processor, that company also sees the payment and which host it went to. Hosts that run their own gateway, such as Mynymbox and IncogNET, avoid that extra party. Running payments yourself has its own risks, though: in August 2026 an exploited bug in BTCPay Server drained Lightning funds from some operators. Prefer hosts that are open about how they handle payments.

How to pay for a server with Monero

  1. Use an email alias if the host asks for an address.
  2. Order the plan and pick Monero at checkout.
  3. Pay from your own wallet by scanning the QR code. See how to pay with Monero.
  4. Wait for confirmation. Most hosts activate after 1 to 10 blocks, so 2 to 20 minutes.
  5. Set a reminder for renewals. There is no card on file to charge, and unpaid servers are usually suspended and then deleted.

Questions people ask

What is the cheapest VPS I can pay for with Monero?

Among the providers we checked in October 2026, Mynymbox starts at €4 a month, IncogNET at $4.62 a month (billed every six months) and Servers Guru at €4.99 a month. Cheap plans sell out often, so check stock.

Can I buy a VPS with no email address?

Yes. Kyun creates accounts with a password and a proof-of-work check, and SporeStack uses an account token with no email; SporeStack needs a $100 first deposit. Most other hosts ask for an email, though several accept aliases.

Does Hostinger accept Monero?

Apparently not. Hostinger takes crypto through CoinGate, and CoinGate's list of supported currencies does not include XMR.

Is offshore hosting above the law?

No. A host follows the laws of the country where its company is registered and the country where its servers sit, which are often different. Njalla, for example, is a Costa Rican company with servers in Sweden.

Does 1984 Hosting accept Monero?

Yes, Bitcoin and Monero, through its dashboard. For tax reasons it does not offer crypto payment to customers who appear to be in Iceland.
